Transatlanticism

I made it! Austin is great but unbelievably hot. Nothing worse than Dubai though. I rented out a shiny new apartment downtown conveniently placed right in the middle of frat row. We'll see how that works out, but it's closer to campus and pretty much everything so it's a excellent location inspite of the frat boys.

Orientation was interesting. I met a girl from Trinidad & Tobago named Abigail and a bunch of other interesting people. I'm going to try and contact a few friends of friends later to hang out with and show me around the town. I was invited to join the Latin American student association so I did. Let's see how that goes.

My sister and I went shopping last night at Barton Creek Square down near Barton Springs and it was cool. Very much like Brea Mall in CA. I pretty much maxed out my credit card there and at Walmart later where I bought a shitload of things for my new place. But I still miss my shiny plasma screen TV god dammit! I'm heading up to SC later this week hopefully to get it and all the other crap I left there.

Facing my roommate should be super fun.

Will blog my to-do list later.

  • OMG AUSTIN!!! How was the flight? How are the boys? I miss you!! Did you see? Silly Jennah auditioned again and she's "not at liberty to discuss it". pshhh. Sure she isn't. She just wants MORE attention.

I had my first lab today!!! It went well, i got full marks!!! I even studied today between class and started and assigment...you know this will be all the study I do for the rest of the semester now. Are you excited for classes to start??!

This is what happens when I never see you on msn, I spam your blog with nonsensical shit.

Good luck with your old room mate, I hope the tv is still in one piece!

  • The flight(s) were looong, but I made it. The boys are.. nice =P. Here it's hot enough for them to walk around with their clothes off all the time so all the better for me, right? I read that post of Jennah's. I actually sincerely hope she makes it to Hollywood. Can you imagine how interesting THAT would be to watch? =P Paula might have to file a restraining order.

Yay for studying. =P You should keep at it until you go to Europe at least, then you'll be missing all those classes and you'll fall behiiiind! I'm certainly not excited for the actual classes, but I'm anxious to see how the general feel of school and studying and stuff is like here.

I miss you! Being back in the states has reminded me of the time difference between us because I NEVER SEE YOU ONLINE. =(
